"INTRODUCTION TO COACHING" COURSE
PURPOSE: This Course is ideal for the new parent or Young Athlete who wants to gain a basic understanding of Coaching Little Athletics.
TIME: Maximum of 5 hours duration. The Course does not have to be continuous 5 hour Session, it can be structured by the Coach and pupils to suit the demands, as long as content of the course is covered.
Each person receives the "Introductory to Coaching" Handbook.
WHERE: Any Little Athletics Centre can run an Introductory Course as long as the Coach lecturing is qualified to the minimum standard of AT&FCA "Orientation to Coaching". If a Centre wants to run an Introductory Course and has no qualified Coaches then they should contact the SALAA Coaches Club Coaching Co-ordinator to arrange for a Qualified Coach.
