Oberwerk 45° 100mm Binocular Telescope! This high-quality instrument is designed for exceptional terrestrial and astronomical viewing using standard 1.25” telescope eyepieces. To assemble, attach the fork-mount to the pedestal base with four screws, ensuring the tensioner knobs align on the same side. When mounting to the tripod, align the fork’s base tabs with the tripod’s slots, insert them, and secure with the locking collar. Adjust the tripod height carefully to prevent imbalance. When placing the binocular on the fork, keep it level to avoid scratches and tighten the thumbscrew underneath. Insert and remove eyepieces with a slight clockwise twist to ease past the focuser’s O-rings. The finder-scope, located in the binocular case, mounts with two thumbscrews and can be focused using its knurled ring. Adjust the inter-pupillary distance (IPD) by moving the prism housings until the image merges, then fine-tune focus for each eye using the large knurled focus rings. If image quality is poor, try a different window or move outdoors, avoiding windows with screens. For best performance, compare views through an open door to check for window distortion.
