Instead of Piggy Backing a Guide Scope or Camera on your main telescope, consider the advantages of placing the equipment side by side on a Heavy Duty DoveTail Plate. Some of the main advantages of a Side By Side setup is more stability, easier to balance and also easier to work around.

Produced locally, the Side By Side setup is made up of a Heavy Duty DoveTail Plate to suit Celestron, Vixen, Skywatcher, Losmandy and other popular Mounts, and 2 separate detachable Side by Side Mounting Plates.

Detachable Side by Side Mounting Plates have an extra pre-drilled hole for mounting a Camera Bracket. The Plates can also be fitted 90°. This enables one scope to be fitted along the length of the Dovetail Plate, so the Dovetail Plate doesn't stick out.

Small Heavy Duty Dovetails to suit the Deatchable Side by Side Mounts are also available.
